Spiritual Growth
Growth Track
When it comes to getting involved in volunteering and the different ministries here at Life Church, the best place to start is Life Church Growth Track! You may ask, "do I need to join the growth class?" Good question! YES! During our Growth Track classes, you'll have the chance to hear teachings and lessons directed towards YOU finding your purpose and what that looks like! Our amazing staff and teachers will teach you how to know God, get connected, discover your purpose and see how you can apply that and make a difference! We offer two different types of classes. The first option we offer is our 3 week class that will meet on 3 consecutive Wednesday night and our second option is what we call our "FAST TRACK" where you would attend a one day class on a Saturday. The Fast Track will be offered once a quarter.
Fresh start
Are you new Christ-follower and want to know what your next steps are? Our Fresh Start class is for you! Our Fresh Start class is geared towards new believers and for those that rededicated their lives to Christ and want to go deeper in knowing what it means to be a Christ-follower. During our Fresh Start classes, you'll have the chance to hear teachings and lessons on what it looks like to truly live a free life and walk this journey with a group loving teachers. We offer this class once a quarter on Sundays at 9:00 in our Adult Classroom located behind the cafe. We would love to start the dialogue with you and walk with you through this journey!
Water BAPTIsm
The first step to becoming a Christ-follower is to believe that He is the Son of God and to trust in Him to save you from your sins, reconcile you to God and give you eternal life. You do this by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Savior and Lord. In so doing, you become a child of God and a member of God’s family of fellow believers.
Another important step in a growing relationship with Jesus is baptism. We believe that baptism is a symbolic, public, visible demonstration of an invisible, inner work of God when a person places their faith in God. For this reason, we only baptize people who have consciously placed their trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
Before a person can be baptized, we require each participant to complete an application and to attend a brief baptism orientation the week before the service.
